In commemoration of the 58th anniversary of the passing of Luciano
Pozo González, this Sunday December 3rd, I will play the music of and
by Chano. I'll review his career in Cuba with Conjunto Azul, share
facts and anecdotes about his life in Cuba then move on to his short
but historical colloborations with Dizzy and others NYC based
musicians. I'll also include some of the many tribute songs recorded
after his murder.
