The living legend of the blues, Linda "the Kid" Hopkins is celebrating her
82nd birthday with a new CD, recorded live at Hollywood's Catalina Bar & Grill.

The Tony-award winning Hopkins co-starred with the late Ruth Brown in "Black
and Blue" on Broadway, where she is perhaps best known for her historic
one-woman show "Me and Bessie." Linda Hopkins also holds the all-time record for
appearances on "The Tonight Show, with Johnny Carson": an astonishing 78
performances.

Last year she was given her Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame -- in front
of the Pantages Theater, right next to Bette Davis. This year she's still going
 strong, belting the blues.

We would be delighted to send you Linda Hopkins: the Living Legend LIVE.
