Dick,
I couldn't agree with you more. Actually, Gavin had gotten up to $350.00 a
year if my memory serves me correctly. Imagine the revenue Jazz Week could
generate. I think it is a small price to pay, even if the magazine were
pared down.

Surely, you're aware that the Jazz community is, unfortunately, heavily
populated with freeloaders. And Freddie Freeloader doesn't donate to
anything that's available for free!!! It's against his basic "principles".
Do you recall the yearly subscription rates for the Gavin Report? $175!!
Based on the present economy, just imagine what it would be today. I would
urge you, Ed, to charge at least $50.00 a year for JazzWeek. Hell, that's a
buck a week!
