Jim, I had known of the one in "A" but one bio page I read on him on All
About Jazz had it listed as a "Concerto In Bb." That's why I said I
didn't know of any Mozart wrote in "Bb." Would you know if that one in A
was what he played? Larry? They certainly were referring to the
composition key and not the instrument. When you say "Concerto In Bb"
that's key and not the Bb instrument. I guess it's possible that some
could intrepret it that way or maybe the writer simply had it wrong.

I was thinking for a minute that you might have been referring to the
Clarinet Quintet (for clarinet and string quartet), as it is sometimes
expanded for string orchestra, but sure enough, it's in A major too...(I
prefer it over the concerto - really nice writing).
