[JPL] Great Kevin Eubanks video clip - did anyone watch it?

On the Eubanks video, I don't know if I'd call it fusion, although I guess
there are some rock guitar licks and a little distortion, just seems like
jazz to me. I'm with Brad, the label seems unimportant.

I would NEVER play this on air or have any interest in listening to it, I
guess I'm still hooked on that meloday and groove thing.

I'm glad that his straight job on the Tonight show gives him the freedom to
be totally creative and not have to have any commercial considerations.
It's important that people want to listen to the musical self expression of
an artist so that he can continue to evolve outside what is generally
accepted. There has always been that rock guitar contingent who love
anything that even hints at that flavor, so I'm sure it would have an
audience of white males 30 to 50 and some of them might consider it fusion.

Silence can be a beautiful thing and sometimes it can speak volumes. I'm not
sure what the silence means in this case.

Did anyone watch it? Is it jazz or is it fusion?
Kevin plays electric guitar, but all the other instruments are acoustic, so
is it electric jazz?
I think it is a great performance, any comments?

Feedback is welcome.
