Thanks Brad and Jim. My gut told me that but then I heard someone pronounce it with the long "e" which created doubt.

Jae, I have no specific information with regards to this case, but 
generally in German names consider the English pronunciation of the 
second letter of the combination ... in this case ei = i ... or 
KRYS-berg. Like the great violinist, Fritz Kreisler (KRYS-ler) .
